I figured, if I don't post these up now, I won't be posting it up later. What's more, tests are next week. So I better put it up now. And mug once done.
SINGfest was f***ing AWESOME.
First day had performances by the likes of Dearest, Crowned King, Melanie Subono, New Found Glory, Melee, Lost Prophets, Simple Plan and Travis.
I have to admit, all the performances rocks!
Crowned King songs are nice! I'm in love with 'One in a million'. Maybe I will change the song on my blog tomorrow. One at a time. heh.
Melee's songs are nice too! I even bought their CD. Lost prophets lead vocalist sarcasm never fail to make me laugh. He kept saying 'fucking' here and there. And he just had to point out to this one man with mustache. He said, 'That is one fucking mustache'. HAHAHA. Even when he wanted the crowd to mosh, he called upon that guy like this. 'YOU! KING of Mustache, make space .....' I just couldn't stop laughing.
Simple Plan was simply the best because they sang all their hit songs. Everyone sang together. It was just fabulous! Travis was the highlight of Day One. They rock everyone's stockings I tell you. Now, I'm in love with 'Flowers in the window'. The song is just so beautiful. (:
Day Two was even more worth it. It's just much more relaxing than the first day. The line-up was even more exciting that you can't wait for them to perform. So much anxiety. Haha.
So the line-up for Day Two was, Stacie Orrico, Jamie Scott & The Town, One Republic, Panic at the Disco, Jason Mraz, Rick Astley, The Pussycat Dolls and Alicia Keys.
I love all their performances! Stacie Orrico was stunning in black. Jamie Scott was cute and I liked the 27 dresses song. One Republic is certainly talented and yes, the whole crowd sang to their songs.
Panic at the Disco; though there were some technical problems at the beginning, they still put up a good performance. And I think PATD likes flowers. Their shirts are printed with flowers, the guitarist had flowers on his hat, the drumset has flowers.. you get it lah eh. Haha. Jason Mraz intro was super duper truper COOL. I just loved his performances. He can prolong one song from 3 minutes to 6 minutes! He just scat and scat and scat. That's how impromptu he is. Freaking AWESOME! I remembered when he asked the audience to participate with some actions when he sings 'The Dynamo of Volition'. Everyone was asked to raised their hands when he sings 'good job!..' and give low fives when he sings 'low dough'. His live performances was certainly unique.
Rick Astley came right after the Levis' fashion show. His only songs that I knew of was that... 'Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down...' song. And also.. 'Together, forever, nanananana.... I love you..' song. HAHA. He looked charming though for a 40 year old man. He even wore a suit (!!!) during his performance. I guess he didn't know that Singapore is kind of humid. Haha. One word to describe The Pussycat Dolls? HOTTT! 'StickWitU' just gave me goosebumps. It was so beautiful. That song reminded me of the people I love that I want to stick with till I grow old. My family, my girlfriends, my friends.. ILY.
The highlight of the night was Alicia Keys. SUPER AWESOME! Alicia Keys! I LOVE YOU! Hahaha. I ended the night with a sulky face but a happy heart. Sulky face because I was so so so so tired after standing for more than 10 hours on the barricades. Well, I did rest in between but that didn't help. Haha. But, it was all worth it. (:
Pictures next. First day photos kinda suck I think. But nevermind. I'll still post it up.
